The Gardens

Our stunningly designed gardens are some of the most beautiful you’ll ever see with breath-taking features including our spectacular blooming vista, stonewalls, waterfall and ponds. A tucked away serene haven.


The venue

The Ultimate Hideaway 201 experience

Our rustic venue and bar offer country charm to make any occasion feel special.

The venue seats up to 100 people and can be configured in many ways to suit your needs.  It has a dance floor area, a licensed and serviced bar, heating and indoor/outdoor fireplaces.  The venue can also be decorated in any way to suit your vision.

We offer a full food and beverage service from finger food to formal set dinners. Our kitchen serves fresh and seasonal produce sourced locally. Our dedicated on-site catering staff have many years of experience in the food and hospitality industry. We work with you to deliver a unique dining experience of delectable dishes for a wide range of palates and can design a menu to suit your needs.

The Boardroom

The Boardroom

Cocktail & Wine Bar

Crafted contemporary and classic cocktails with eclectic wine choices and handpicked international and New Zealand beers. The Boardroom caters for groups of more than 30 people and has the perfect atmosphere for a canapé party or other menu options to fit your occasion.

The Boardroom has a fresh, intimate feel and is a great backdrop for all manner of events.


The Marquee

A permanent instalment, complete with beautiful white silks

Our exquisite permanent silk-lined marquee and outdoor entertaining area allows you to enjoy the indoor-outdoor flow.

From power and lighting, permanent toilet facilities, heating, a concrete floor, dance area, a bar and area that can accommodate small and larger groups of up to 250 people, we’ve got every little thing you can think of covered.

Indoor and outdoor entertainment areas are complemented by private and secluded gardens.

The Hideaway 201 provides an economical wrap-around service by providing the marquee and fixtures. If you’d like, you’re welcome to organise your own beverages, glasses and entertainment.

Your wedding is one of the most monumental days of your life, so it’s important the day is special. Having a great wedding doesn’t mean you need to spend hoards of money or have hundreds and hundreds of people there (but if that’s your vibe, that’s great too!). A memorable wedding is one that simply has the right touches and attention to little details.

That’s where we come in! The Hideaway 201 has been in the wedding business for more years than we’d care to admit, but you know what they say, with age brings wisdom… So rest assured we’ll be sharing our years of wisdom with you to ensure your big day is the best yet!

Our Platinum and Premium wedding packages include ceremony and reception necessities such as seating, linens, tableware, floral arrangements, venue coordination and design, post-event clean up and more. As part of our catering service we provide a complimentary bridal basket of treats for you to enjoy whilst having your photos taken in our surrounds.

Wedding ceremonies can be held anywhere in our gardens with backup wet weather options available. Receptions can take place at one of our venues – The Venue or The Marquee.

Winter Weddings

Ooh, who doesn’t love a good moody winter landscape?! Winter weddings are as exquisite as those held in the warmer months. Surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape and the moody winter light, this incredibly romantic wedding setting is perfect for celebrating love in the cooler months. In contrast to the crispness of the season, this wedding style is flush with warmth and a delicate beauty that creates an incredibly inviting and romantic atmosphere. Discounted wedding packages are available for weddings held in the months of May-August.
